Uninterrupted views with the Origin French Window

Bringing traditional style to contemporary living, the Origin French Window offers a timeless look with all the strength premium-grade aluminium has to offer.

Allowing you to utilise wall space and bring more natural light into the home, our French Window is a great alternative to our French Doors.

Enjoy a completely open and uninterrupted view with the Origin French Window’s moving mullion. By removing the unnecessary barrier between indoors and outdoors, the mullion (often fixed on other windows) simply becomes one with the sash, completely eliminating any obstruction to your view. And, slim sightlines means that even when your windows are closed, you’ll enjoy unrestricted views.

Friction hinges allow you to choose how far open you want your windows to go, removing the need for any additional installation of catches or hooks. With the Origin French Window, you’ll be enjoying something truly special.

Hinge

First-class strength and security

Made of premium-grade aluminium and boasting a unique locking system, the Origin French Window is extremely strong and secure. Featuring unique shooting bolts, friction hinges and a PAS24 locking system, you can feel safe knowing that while your French Windows can open up your home, they can also tightly securely close it, too.

The 4-point locking system is built to complement the expertly designed moving mullion and is tested to the highest standards, allowing you to securely lock your windows when needed. The Yale lock is built with high grade stainless steel and hinges that are capable of carrying exceptionally heavy loads, allowing for flexibility with larger configurations.

One of the greatest security features of the Origin French Window is that it is specified as an emergency exit window. By providing an unobstructed opening of at least 0.33m² with a minimum dimension of 450mm height or width, our French Windows surpass current building regulations, keeping you and your family safe in an emergency.

Meeting fire exit requirements

With all its security features in mind, the Origin French Window is one of the most secure windows on the market today.

Lowering energy bills

Exceeding British Building Regulation Requirements

Available with either double or triple glazing, our French Window offers exceptional thermal efficiency that exceeds current building regulations. Achieving a U-Value of 1.5 with double glazing, our windows beat current UK building regulations by 0.5W/m2K for new builds.

A+++ Energy rating

For out of this world thermal efficiency, you can upgrade your windows to Aerogel, which achieves an extremely low 0.9 U-Value and A** Energy rating. Using this in your home can drastically reduce energy bills and keep your home warm in winter and cool in summer. Origin Windows are the only windows in the UK to offer this revolutionary technology.

Choice of 150 colours

Whether your aim is to create a fresh new look or simply to match your new windows with your existing colour-scheme, the Origin French Window is available in over 150 colours and guarantees to offer inspiration.

150 RAL coloursDual colour options

Our Dual Colour option allows you choose two colours for the interior and exterior of your window frames, giving you the flexibility to create a different look indoors and outdoors. This can be especially useful for listed properties, where the exterior frames may need to be a certain colour or finish - allowing you to still be creative.
