Instagram Home Complete with Bespoke Origin Products
We wanted quality aluminium doors and windows, and that's just what we got thanks to Origin!

After living in the area for a couple of years, Abi and her family wanted to purchase somewhere local but a little bit more out of the way. In 2018, they found the perfect home and purchased it; the home was bought as a project. The family lived in a static caravan in the driveway whilst they totally gutted and renovated the entire house and garden. 6 long months later, the project was completed in March 2019 and the family could move in and enjoy their home.
Why Origin?
When carrying out the project, Abi knew that she wanted high quality aluminium doors and windows, and Origin was then recommended to her as being a reputable, industry leading company with great products. After taking some time to look at the Origin website and brochures, Abi contacted her local Origin installer - Fenland Windows - and started the process.
The colour choice…
Wanting to choose something a little different, Abi chose RAL colour 7030M ‘Stone Grey’ after being shown a sample by her installer. The family didn’t want a colour that would date over time, so after some research, they decided that a neutral and pale colour would be best for their home.
Product choice...
Abi was especially thrilled with her Origin Front Door and it’s unique style. She chose the CO02 Panel (which has now been discontinued) in RAL colour 7030M to match the other products within the home. Family and friends were also quick to comment on the stunning colour and flush profile which gives a wonderfully neat finish.
As well as the Front Door, the property contains OB-72 Single Doors, 3 sets of 2 Door OB-72 Bi-folds, a stunning 5 Door set of OB-72 Bi-folds, a Gable Window, and an array of OW-80 windows with Georgian Bars. These products fill the home with natural light without compromising on security - something that was very important for Abi and her family.
Social media and the finished project…
When carrying out the project, Abi set up an Instagram account to post about the process – you can find her at @oaklands_garden. Abi also used Instagram as a great source of inspiration for her project, something which we are hearing more frequently.
The family are extremely happy with the finished project and love how easy all the doors and windows are to use. Abi is keen to recommend Origin to all her friends and family, claiming that the quality of the product is excellent along with the bespoke nature.
