After 6 years of living in a beautiful property, after much contemplation, Dan and his family took the decision to go ahead with a small extension to help them achieve their dream home. Dan was keen to make the most of their south facing outdoor space by embracing as much light as possible – something Origin were more than happy to assist with. They also wanted to create a family friendly outdoor area that would give them plenty of room for cooking and entertaining family and friends throughout the year.
Why Origin?
The couple originally heard about Origin when visiting one of the Homebuilding and Renovating shows. They found Origin to be a one-stop-shop for everything they had in mind. Whilst at the show, they also found that Origin were spoken very highly of, which eased any worries. Enjoying Their Re-Vamped Home
After much hard work, the project came to an end in November 2018 - just in time for the family Christmas they had hoped for in their newly refurbished home. Much of their inspiration came from their architect, and now, Dan couldn’t be happier, especially as he's able to enjoy breakfast each morning with a stunning view. Whether it’s a warm sunny morning where the doors can be opened, or a frosty start where the family can keep cosy and warm, everyone is now thrilled to have a shiny new space for summer BBQ’s and entertaining.
The family chose both the Origin OB-72 Bi-Fold Door and the Origin OS-20 Sliding Door, which they claim has allowed them to embrace the new outdoor living style that they were craving, as well as flooding the home with natural light. They were pleasantly surprised with the difference the doors made. The family made the decision to have the doors open out onto a patio rather than the grass to prevent any muddy footprints coming into the home. Dan commented on how the doors were ‘extremely low maintenance and simple to operate.’ Alongside their doors, the family chose to include a range of OW-70 Origin Windows to add a consitent styling throughout their lovely home, all in RAL shade 9005M.

Not only have the doors and windows impressed Dan and the family, but also their friends and extended family, as the project seems to have attracted a lot of positive attention. They again mentioned how lovely and easy it was that Origin was a one-stop-shop for all of their needs. The couple was also very impressed with the value of Origin products, considering the benefits and quality that comes with them. The family wanted to invest in their home for items that would last as opposed to other materials that would not last as long, and they are happy they got that with Origin.
