The homeowner had previously chosen Origin’s OI-30 Internal Doors in the Soho style to partition spaces within the home. Delighted by their sleek sightlines and robust feel, the decision to continue the Soho aesthetic through to the garden was a natural next step.

This project marks a significant milestone... the very first installation of the OB-36+ Bifold Door, designed in the same distinctive Soho style with the exclusive textured Jet Black RAL 9005T.

Wanting to preserve consistency between the internal and external aesthetics, the OB-36+ offered the perfect solution. Crafted with the same steel-look as the OI-30, these bifold doors not only elevate the rear extension but also create a seamless flow from the kitchen-living area out to the garden.

The black-on-black finish and horizontal sightlines mirror the internal doors, making the transition between spaces feel intuitive and considered. The doors were installed within a gable frame to maximise natural light and frame the idyllic countryside views, all while staying true to the home’s refined yet inviting design palette.
