Why Origin?

The words ‘contemporary’ and ‘orangery’ may not always feel like they go together, which is exactly why this couple wanted to find the right products to bring light to their home in style. Knowing that their plans would feature a range of different types of windows and doors, which all needed to complement each other and work together, they consulted the Origin range to create a space which would bring together their rooms’ different needs.

Product choice

A combination of bi-fold doors alongside casement windows creates two walls of glass, to open up the view of the garden area and bring light to the relatively distant kitchen area. The third wall of the orangery space features two casement windows beside room for a television, creating a sense of intimacy while still being open. This is complemented by the gable windows in the ceiling, which help to extend the feeling of brightness and create an open feeling in the dining area.

This a multi-function room designed to truly live in – or to borrow another phrase; work rest and play – all enhanced by a sense of openness and intimacy created by a clever combination of windows, doors and overall design.

Benefits of Origin
