Jen has lived in her Buckinghamshire home for over 7 years. Ever since moving in, she has been troubled by the lack of natural light in the downstairs of her home, so she decided to replace her old UPVC French doors on the back of the house with a stunning new set of Slimline OB-49 Bi-Folds. Jen was keen to add more light and open her up her downstairs space so that her little grandchildren had more room to run around.
What attracted you to the OB-49 Bi-Folds?
Jen came across Origin through a family member who had previously chosen Origin for their home. She commented that as soon as she saw the product, she knew she wanted something similar for her own home.
The sleek and modern look was hugely appealing for Jen as she wanted to add a modern touch to her classic home. The Origin Slimline OB-49 Bi-Fold Doors sold themselves with the impressive security features, stylish design, slim sightlines and lengthy guarantee. All of Jen's worries were put at ease and she decided Origin would be the bi-fold door manufacturer for her.
Choosing the right fit
Jen chose to have four large sashes in a 3+1 configuration which gave her access to an everyday lead time. The OB-49 has sightlines of just 49mm and Jen opted for the ever popular RAL colour of 7016M anthracite grey to give a modern twist. The bi-folds stretch across the back of the house, which was previously part brick, part UPVC French doors. The new opening has filled the whole downstairs with natural light - a target that Jen was aiming for in her renovation. As well as this, the whole family have been enjoying being able to have the doors open as it has created one large indoor/outdoor space throughout the warmer months.
Security was also extremely important to Jen when choosing her doors.
